To me, EWP Is… a collection of talented professionals all dedicated to providing our clients with the best level service, making every project the best it can be. We understand every project is unique, with its own set of needs, deadlines, and budgets. Our many years of experiences allow us to excel at communicating our design ideas and finding the right project direction. We want the entire process to be a fun and stress-free experience. Our passion to our work makes us leaders in supporting the needs of the real estate community.

How I came to architecture and design… I came to learn about construction at an early age, heading out with my neighbor to his residential construction projects. Enthralled by the evolution of a building, but finding the back of my neighbor’s pickup truck uncomfortable, I vowed to become an architect in design – not build buildings. From seventh grade through high school, I took every drawing and drafting class available, even persuading my teacher to create independent study courses when the school could offer nothing further. I love to draw, space plan and design. I appreciate bold colorful artwork and am excited about the physical craft of making architecture.

My role at EWP… is to manage projects from start to finish, directing the project team to ensure the client’s goals are always met. My goal, my hope, is for each client to tell me we helped them achieve the best possible result. Understanding the client’s needs is my highest priority and I bring my 40 years of experience to finding the right solution. Having spent my entire career as an interior architect, I have worked both on the client side as a corporate architect for a large Chicago bank and in daily practice. This unique experience positions me to expertly serve the needs of our clients.

Outside of EWP… You can find me most weekends attending art shows in the Tri-state area and grilling on my Weber. I have a loving wife, three grown sons, and a very social dog named Oscar.
