THE BRIEF
Take an existing building, with no infrastructure and transform it into a corporate headquarters with a Customer Experience Center.
THE DEEPER ISSUE
The Australian based group was looking to develop a US headquarters. They had no US presence and needed to create a corporate image to attract talent. They leased a building via little to no due diligence. The Customer Experience Center needed to evolve with their technology based product.
THE PROCESS
Position the Customer Experience Center in the small first floor area. Utilize the street entrance and a green wall to create a unique arrival sequence. Create a flexible power and structure solution to allow the tenant to change out their product as technology changes. Provide for a polished hospitality experience and meeting environment. Open the second floor and install a connecting stair with a dramatic wood screen to bring in more natural light and build a connection to the corporate area above. Utilize the existing wood beam and brick structure to provide a unique aesthetic.
