To me, EWP is… a highly knowledgeable and creative team that collaborates to solve our client’s design problems. Every project is unique, and our group’s diverse skill set complements each other to create a well-thought thorough solution that addresses the client’s priorities and needs.
How I came to architecture and design… I have always had an aptitude for technical subjects like math and science plus a curiosity for how things work. After taking a few art classes, I discovered that I also have a creative side and I especially grew interested in photography. I found that a completely creative or technical profession would not be enough. Architecture is the perfect marriage of both.
My role at EWP… As Lead Architect, I see projects through from start to finish. Working with the client to identify their needs, coming up with a solution that addresses those needs, creating the documents needed to communicate the design, and working with the contractor to see it realized are just some of my responsibilities. I draw on over 25 years of experience to be an effective and productive member of our team.
Outside of EWP… I am a wife and a mom to two boys. I spend lots of time on the sidelines of soccer games in addition to watching karate and guitar classes. I still enjoy photography and am an avid reader.

To me, EWP is… a team of wildly creative people committed to the development of workplace environments. We work for tenants, landlords and leasing teams to realize functional and inspiring office spaces along with the building amenities that support them. Above all else we are problem solvers, guiding our clients towards the “right answer”. An answer unique to each client and each environment.
How I came to architecture and design… An only child of a mining family, my childhood was filled with international travel. I was blessed to see some of the world’s most iconic built works before I hit double digits. I believe it was this early exposure to history, art and construction that bred the respect I have for architecture and design. Early on, I saw the power built works had to affect a visitor’s mood and movement, shaping the city around it. I appreciated the unique complexities of construction and design in different countries and the way those details could speak to the culture that created them. Always a creative kid, I spent most of my youth painting, sculpting, and crafting. When it came time to find a career, I saw architecture and interior design as a way to translate my love of art into the physical environment. A way to literally sculpt the world around me.
My role at EWP… As a Licensed Lead Architect at EWP, my role is a primary client contact, guiding clients through every stage of the project from conception through completion. Also, a registered interior designer, I am pivotally engaged in the collaborative visioning and design phases working to create exceptional environments that speak to each client’s needs. With 8 years of experience working solely in commercial interiors, I can draw from experience and knowledge of market trends to deliver beautiful, functional, and profitable spaces.
Outside of EWP… My time outside of the studio is spent chasing a rambunctious toddler and catching up on the latest documentaries.

To me, EWP is… a tight-knit community of architects and designers. We are a full-service architectural interiors firm with a direct specialization in workplace environments. Our primary goal is to provide leadership and guidance to the team throughout the architectural process. EWP is able to bring a vast pool of knowledge and experience to the table to assist with any questions or problems that may arise. Ultimately, our goal is to deliver a well-designed, highly-functional finished product that is enjoyed by those who use it.
How I came to architecture and design… I have always had a knack for creative things growing up as a child. But my pathway to architecture was a bit of trial and error. My interest in the technical aspect of design first sparked when I enrolled in a CAD course back in high school. I enjoyed the course content so much it got me thinking of how I could apply this to my future. This led me to my first opportunity at an MEP Consultant firm. The engineering side really struck a note with the technical side, but the creative side was still lacking. In transferring to architecture, I found a role that was fulfilling on all fronts.
My role at EWP… As Lead Architect, my official role is to manage projects, overseeing them from conception to completion. I have a heavy hand in the scheduling and detailing of each project, but also collaborate with the project team to create a cohesive design. Outside of my typical Lead Architect duties, I assist with some of the more technical items throughout the office such as code compliance, lighting specification, and software management. I like to think that I bring a helping hand to those who need it.
Outside of EWP… I spend the majority of time hanging out with my beautiful daughter, Ava. In my spare time I enjoy cooking of all kinds, from baking to grilling, as well as catching up on the latest movies and TV shows.
